Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor best known for his character on the popular television series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. He discovered his love for acting from his days in the college classroom and then studied acting at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been active in both films and television, it is his characters on the small screen which have earned him recognition and followers. The ability of his characters to appear from both sides of the law is a draw for people. He played a serial killer in his first television series project however he later went on perform the role in the role of a NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen acting performances. The piercingly blue eyes of his face are considered to be the most appealing characteristic. Also, they are regarded as a trademark, and they've been acknowledged as a reason for his portrayals of characters with rough edges but empathetic. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
